Beyond Years

The current pandemic has brought the world to a standstill, it has proven to be far more fatal for the elderly. Their community life has been crippled with fear. “Beyond Years” is a re-imagined space for the elderly. The design enhances their community life and uses green spaces as a therapeutic tool and to purify indoor air. Inspired by Jane Jacob, a well-known advocate for urban preservation who stated “New ideas must use old buildings”, this project brings about the revival of the Superman Building and the community life of the elderly.
